[post_content] => Buckeye Partners is to sell its 50% equity interest in VTTI to IFM Investors, an institutional funds manager owned by 27 Australian pension funds. Vitol’s remaining 50% interest will be controlled by Vitol Investment Partnership II Ltd (VIP), an investment vehicle sponsored by Vitol.
The transaction, which is subject to certain conditions, is expected to close by the end of the year. There will be no change to the VTTI management.
Rob Nijst, CEO of VTTI, says: “It has been a pleasure working with Buckeye over the last two years and we wish Buckeye the very best in its future endeavours. We are looking forward to a strengthened cooperation with IFM, Vitol and VIP, working together to further grow our global network of terminals”.
